Emma Thomas - News Editor

B.A. hons Journalism ,Film and Broadcasting ~ Post Grad dip. NCTBJ Portsmouth School of Journalism ~ born in Haverfordwest raised in Swansea ~ mum of two~ studied at the University of Wales College of Cardiff

Worked within radio for 12 years ~ started career at Swansea Sound ~ did degree and post grad studies then started freelancing for BBC Wales ~ Red Dragon FM and The Wave. First full time job was at the Wave and Swansea Sound ~ moved on to become senior journalist at Red Dragon FM ~ was Late Editor at Real Radio ~ then returned to Swansea as News Editor for the Wave, Swansea Sound and Valleys Radio in 2001.

Lauren Jones - Broadcast Journalist

B.A. hons English with American studies at University of Wales Aberystwyth . Post Grad dip. NCTBJ in Broadcast Journalism.

Age 24 born and raised in Swansea - started career off in hospital radio as presenter ~ joined The Wave and Swansea Sound in 2005 on work placement ~ progressed into freelance work and is currently reading bulletins and reporting five days a week.

Caroline Allen

Caroline joined the team in October 2006. She gained a Masters in Broadcast Journalism from University College Falmouth and has got an English degree from Manchester Metropolitan University.
Originally from Cardiff - Caroline has freelanced for Real Radio, Sovereign Radio and Key 103.
Since coming to The Wave/Swansea Sound Caroline has covered the DVLA letter bomb story and met with ex Prime Minister Tony Blair aswell as doing many interviews with Wales' First Minister Rhodri Morgan.

Lexy Blackwell

Lexy joined the team in January 2007. She has a Biology degree from Bristol University and a Masters degree in Broadcast Journalism from University College Falmouth.

Originally from Bristol - Lexy has worked at Arrow fm, Bath fm, Ivel fm, and Xfm. As well as reporting for Channel five news and HTV soccer night.

Since joining the Wave she's covered stories including Wales' Rugby world cup bid, followed South Wales murder trials and interviewed top ministers like Peter Hain and Rhodri Morgan.
