Beckham Not In Team GB

David Beckham has revealed he won't play in this summers Olympic Games.

The former England captain has confirmed he's not been selected for the British Olympic football squad.

The 37-year-old had hoped to be included as one of the three overage players for Team GB.

He's thought to have lost out to 24-year-old Manchester City defender Micah Richards.

Welshmen Ryan Giggs and Craig Bellamy are expected to be apart of Stuart Pearce's squad as the other two overage players.

Team GB Coach Stuart Pearce is expected to confirm his final squad on the 8th of July the majority of which have to be under the age of 23.
