A deal for the Welsh International has been confirmed by both clubs
Joe Allen has linked up with former boss Brendan Rodgers at Anfield, ending weeks of speculation over his future.
The 22 year old has enjoyed a break through year playing for the Swans in their first season in the Premier League, and played a starring role on Olympics duty with Team GB.
Allen has reportedly signed a "Long term deal" at Anfield.
Speaking to Liverpool FC . com, Allen said:
"The passion that people have here for football is something I share, and I want to be part of that".
"I'm looking forward to being part of some great years ahead for Liverpool Football Club".
Brendan Rodgers has made Allen his second signing since taking charge at Liverpool, after former Swan Fabio Borini was also brought in from Roma.
