Swans Chairman Huw Jenkins rules out return of former players.
Swansea City Chairman Huw Jenkins has denied the club has made a £3 million bid for Marvin Emnes.
The Middlesbrough striker had a successful one-month loan spell with the Swans back in October 2010.
The 24-year-old became a cult hero when he scored the winner against Cardiff.
Jenkins said an enquiry had been made to Boro: "But that was six weeks ago when Brendan Rodgers was the manager. We have certainly not made an enquiry since."
Speaking to The Wave and Swansea Sound yesterday (Thursday) Jenkins also ruled out a returning move for loan signing Steven Caulker.
The 20-year-old defender had been ever-present in Brendan Rodgers side last season making 26 appearances.
But with new manager Michael Laudrup coming in, Jenkins admitted the new manager would bring "different ideas" To Liberty Stadium.
