Run Fatboy, Run!Reports suggests unhealthy British lifestyle
We're being encouraged to get up and do some exercise.
A new report suggests it could have the same impact on our health as stopping smoking.
Researchers have found 60 per cent of us in the UK don't do the recommended amount of physical activity.
Even the United States has a better figure than that.
The Chief Medical Officer for Wales has responded to the findings:
"Adults should do two and a half hours of moderate physical activity each week, which can be broken down into manageable chunks. Gardening, getting off the bus a stop early and walking further, cycling, are all ways of becoming more active.
"More than half the population of Wales are overweight, or obese, and a third do no or very little physical activity. There are real benefits to keeping active, and this report shows that we need to think about the dangers of a sedentary lifestyle.”
