  • Hardest job in the world...

    Oh it's been a busy week. If I am not chasing my 2 year old son down a busy road after he decides to make a run for it,  clearing up food which he has thrown on the floor,  finding toys hidden in the oddest places (the freezer) I am now clearing up wee and worse just to add to my TTD list.

     This week, we have started potty training.  My son thinks its HILARIOUS when he has a wee on the floor as he then gets to choose some clean dry clothes - pretty sure this isn't how you should do it?!

    I have been surviving on 4 hours sleep a night as a little someone wants "MUMMMMMMMY" as soon as he wakes at 6.23am. But you know what, I wouldn't change a thing.  If anyone else woke me after 4 hours sleep, I would possibly cause them serious damage, but as soon as I see my little monkey with his wide smile and his arms outstretched for a cuddle, I don't mind at all.  He even told me this week he loves me more than his "Choo choo"  (that's his Thomas train to you and me) so I must be popular!

    Being a parent is definitely the hardest job in the world - but would I have it any other way?  Absolutely not!

    Hi, it's Donna here from Late Night Love and wow, what a night it's been.

    We have been chatting about your biggest secret - maybe something you have kept from your partner, family/friends and the response has been phenomenal.

    We were chatting about the American basketball player Jason Collins, who after being engaged to a woman for 7 years has come out.  His fiance had no idea he was gay and he said he was 'living a lie...'

    So I asked YOU to tell me your biggest secret.  Here are just a few which we had on the show tonight...

    'I am in love with my best friend.  It's really hard being around him and his girlfriend, but he's too good a friend to risk it by making it all a bit weird...'

    'I kept a secret from my family.  I was pregnant but the first they knew about it was when my daughter was 18 months old...'

    'I was married for 13 years and my partner had an affair with a friend.  Since then I have found out he had 6 affairs in the 16 years we were together...'

  • Blind dates, being famous, and things you've regretted...!!

    Hi!  It's Donna here from Late Night Love at the end of what's been another busy week on the show!

    On Sunday, we had an email from Annie.  She wanted some advice as her new man wanted her to move 200 miles to go and live with him - He was recently separated from his wife and she was worried she was giving up a lot to make the big move.  Thanks for getting in touch to help her out - hopefully she will now make the best decision for HER.

    We've also chatted about being famous - would you really want to be?!  This was one of my favourite messages during the show, from Lynette.

    'God no! Can you imagine being papped on the school run when you woke up late, and have had to give your child a Kitkat in the car for breakfast? ! Or when your knickers are stuck up your bum and you have to duck behind something/someone to pull them out? Or when you're at traffic lights and picking your nose? (Not me, i hasten to add, but I have seen A LOT of people doing that!!) Nahhh not for me, I'm happy being Mrs Nobody Special lol'
