Black Friday is on the way with all those bargains ready for Christmas.

It happens November 25th. So if you fancy grabbing a bargain, know before you go!

Bookmark items that you know you want to buy a few days before November 23. Click on “save for later” and you’ll be able to see if it goes on sale on Black Friday.

Check opening times for your local store if you and keep an eye out on what you’re putting in your basket.

Tesco 

What do the experts predict will feature in the Tesco sale?

After looking at last year’s deals, Gary says: “Tesco had a range of electronics at a discounted price last year including a 32in TV for £99 – however it was mostly its own make with not many big-name brands included in the sale.

“There were also a number of discount codes for spending at Tesco Direct.

“This year, we expect more of the same, with a lot of own-brand products discounted and battling for the lowest price against Amazon.”

While Holly predicts that the supermarket giant will offer 50 per cent off their electrical items such as HD TVs, coffee makers, PC tablets and kindles.

What was on sale last year?

Last year, Tesco dramatically reduced the price of the Digihome 49in large screen LED TV with Freeview, from £349 to £199 with a whopping saving of £150.

Some other good deals were:

– Beats Solo 2 On-Ear Headphones reduced by £100 down to £69

– A 15.6in screen Acer laptop which was sold for £179, down from £279

– Tassimo T20 Coffee Machine for £29.50, saving £70

– The Babylis Curl Secret Hair Styler half price at just £59.50

– The 10in Samsung Android Tablet, with a saving of £60 selling for just £99

What do the experts predict will feature in the Argos sale?

After looking at last year’s deals, Gary says: “Expect a range of discounts on everything from consoles to vacuum cleaners.”

What was on sale last year?

Last year, Argos slashed prices on live deals with savings on items such £100 off refurbished iPhones, £140 off GoPros and £100 off Cannon cameras.

Some other good deals were:

– £70 off iPad Airs and £15 off Fire 7″ Tablets.

PS4s with uncharted 500GB bundle is to be available at a special price of £249.9.

– XBox One 500GB console will be priced at £229.99.
– The Tassimo T20 coffee machine will be on offer at a special price of £29.99 – a discount of £70.
– LG 49” Full HD LED TVs will have a saving of £220 to be priced at £329.

– Nintendo Wii U 32GB Mario Kart 8 and Splatoon Premium Pack + Wii U Pro Controller at £239.99.

 

John Lewis  

What do the experts predict will feature in the John Lewis sale?

After looking at last year’s deals, Gary says: “John Lewis was another stronger performer from last year offering cheap Kindles, TVs and electronics – some of which were selling out early in the morning.

“This year, we expect more cracking discounts with some bigger savings on single products that will likely sell out very quickly.

“It also honours its Price Promise guarantee of being “never knowingly undersold”, which means if you see the same item cheaper at another high street store, it’ll match it.”

Holly predicts that the department store will be offering strong discounts on Apple products and designer handbags, although she reckons the discounts will be low, with around £100 knocked off the prices of the high-end products.

What was on sale last year?

Last year, John Lewis dramatically reduced the price of the LG 55in HD Television dropping the price to £1,399 with a saving of £600.

Some other good deals were:

– John Lewis’ own 55″ smart TV was knocked down in price to £749 from £899

– The gold Samsung Galaxy Tab S2 was offered at the discount price of £299

– The Dyson DC44 cordless vacuum cleaner was priced at just £179.95, a reduction of £130

– The white Kenwood KMM710 Premium Food Mixer was just under half price at £209.95

 

Amazon 

What is the expert’s advice?

Amazon has been accused of making its discounts seem up to 10 times bigger than they really are.

“The best deals will go live at midnight so be prepared to say up late,” added Smith. “Websites tend to crash when Black Friday deals go live, but if you persevere you can make some amazing savings!”

What does the expert predict will feature in the sale?

After looking at last year’s deals, Gary says: “Amazon is normally the biggest player on Black Friday, offering different deals every hour. We expect to see big discounts on a huge range on items.”

While Holly predicts that Amazon will be having lots of “FLASH DEALS! which will happen throughout the day offering up to 80 per cent off selected items in every department on their website.”

Last year, Amazon offered a variety of time-limited lightning deals and a number of all-day offers too.

– Xbox One 500GB with Rare Replay & Ori and the Blind Forest at £239

Game 

GAME is gearing up to slash its prices for the special pre-Christmas sale – here are the top tips you need to get the best deals.

Last year the tech store stretched Black Friday out into a five day sale extravaganza.

What do the experts predict will feature in the GAME sale?

After looking at last year’s deals, Gary says: “Game last year was an exciting player offering one-hour only sales on selected games and consoles – some being the best on the market.

“This year we expect to see big discounts on consoles and games.”

While Holly predicts discounts as big as 50 per cent on PS4 bundles.

What was on sale last year?

Last year GAME released some amazing bundles ideal any gamer.

For just £239.99 video game fans could purchase an Xbox One with the Ori and the Blind Forest, Rare Replay and Goat Simulator.

There were also some bargain PS4 packages available with the PlayStation 4 with Unchartered: The Nathan Drake Collection, FIFA 16 and a two month NOW TV superscription for just £249.99.

Alternatively lucky shoppers could snap up the PlayStation 4 with Call of Duty: Black Ops III, FIFA 16 and The Last Of Us: Remastered for just £299.99.
