Over 1600 students collected their AS and A Level results from Gower College Swansea today and A Level students are now celebrating an overall pass rate of 98%, with an impressive 25% of the grades awarded being A*/A. 34 individual A Level subjects had 100% pass rate. College Principal, Mark Jones, commented: “Gower College Swansea has again produced results of the highest quality and students are to be congratulated on their achievements. I must also acknowledge the staff, whose dedication and commitment have enabled learners to reach their potential.” Vocational students also excelled. 45% of students were awarded a distinction and over 120 students were awarded a triple distinction, which is the equivalent of three A grades at A Level.
