Ellie Goulding is the latest to announce a new tour to support her new album called 'Brightest Blue'.
Ellie is going to be bringing her intimate 'Brightest Blue Tour' to Manchester, Birmingham, Bournemouth, London, Newcastle, Glasgow and Dublin in April and May of next year.
The singer who's hits include 'Your Song' and 'Starry Eyed' posted details of the tour on Instagram saying, 'The feeling I get from my new album is that people get to immerse themselves into a world of hope despite everything being so bleak, you have to tear through your own demons to get to the other side but also realising that you can free yourself from toxic relationships!'
The album, 'Brightest Blue' is the follow-up to Ellie's 2015 album 'Delirium' and consists of two parts. Explaining her thoughts behind the first half, Ellie said, "It reflects my vulnerability...
"It acknowledges a complex world where relationships still dictate our happiness and heartbreak and can still be the most painful thing in the world, no matter how enlightened you are.
"The tracks also symbolise growing up and becoming a woman."
She revealed the second half, "encapsulates my confident, brave and fearless side and features all my recent collaborations. I often find myself writing about my thoughts and emotions in a way that I know will be catchy and memorable.
"I will always seek to use my voice in ways that no one would ever expect and look to collaborate with the least likely, exciting and eclectic group of other artists."
