12 Wales Stars In Lions Squad

Sam Warburton captains Lions tour of New Zealand this summer.

Warren Gatland has chosen 12 players from Wales, 16 from England, 11 from Ireland and two from Scotland.

Wales back row Sam Warburton will captain the British and Irish Lions on their tour of New Zealand this summer.

England captain Dylan Hartley has not been selected in the 41-man squad.

Warburton, 28,  led the Lions to victory over Australia in 2013.

The tour, which runs from 3 June to 8 July, features three Tests against the All Blacks, who are world champions.
