Police Appeal To Identify Taxi

It follows an attempted robbery at Natwest bank

South Wales Police are appealing for help to identify a taxi as part of an investigation into the attempted robbery at a town centre Bank.

Officers were called following reports of a cash-in-transit theft at Natwest bank on Green Street at around 10am on Tuesday 20th February.

Police now want to speak to the driver of a Black Astra or Kia taxi that dropped off two men at Sessile Oak and Restaurant at approximately 11:40am on that date.

One of the men is described as white, around 6ft tall, medium build, wearing peach coloured shorts and a blue hoody.

The other is white, around 5ft 8inches tall, stocky build, wearing a blue polo shirt and carrying a blue carrier bag.
