Back to back wins for Wales in 1-0 win over Belarus

Daniel James scored the winner for Ryan Giggs' side in Cardiff

A strike from former Swansea City player Daniel James strike gave Wales their 1- nil win over Belarus at Cardiff City Stadium in yesterday’s friendly.

Giggs will be pleased with the display that his players put on for the home crowd as Wales secured back-to-back wins.

Wales will return to action next month when they visit Trnava to play Slovakia (10 October), followed by a home match against Croatia on 13 October.

Manager Ryan Giggs was pleased that at the player’s response to the previous clash with Azerbaijan on Friday:

“I’m more than pleased because I feel like a lot of players learned from the mistakes of Friday night. Players are human, they can make their mistakes and then learn from it. And a lot of players tonight did that.”
