A 36-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Christine James.
A 36-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Christine James whose body was found at her flat in Century Wharf, Cardiff Bay, on Wednesday, March 2.
Kris Wade from Cardiff Bay was arrested on Monday, March 7 and has been remanded in custody to appear at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court on Thursday March 10.
Senior Investigating Officer Detective Chief Inspector Ceri Hughes said, “Christine’s family have been updated with today’s developments and continue to be supported by family liaison officers at this extremely difficult time.
“We are grateful for the support of the Century Wharf community during our investigation which is continuing and would appeal for anyone who knew Christine, or has any other information, to please contact South Wales Police.”
Officers discovered Christine’s body in her fourth-floor flat in Dubrovnik House, Hansen Court, at around 2.15pm on Wednesday, March 2.
Relatives had contacted South Wales Police earlier that day concerned that Christine had not arrived at Gatwick Airport on Saturday, February 27 for a flight to Florida.
A 66-year-old man who was previously arrested has been released from police bail with no further action in relation to this murder.
