Police given 'stop and search' powers in three areas of the city.
South Wales Police have imposed a 'stop and search' order in three parts of Cardiff after two stabbings in 24 hours.
The Section 60 notice covers Butetown, Grangetown and Riverside areas and runs until 2pm this afternoon.
It's after a man was stabbed in Smeaton Street in Riverside on Friday morning.
Another man was then attacked in the early hours of Saturday in Loudon Square, Butetown.
The man who was attacked on Friday is said to be in a stable condition in hospital while the man who was stabbed on Saturday morning is in a serious condition.
Police say the incidents aren't linked.
