Doggie Meet And Greet In Swansea

Dog's Trust in Bridgend is geraing up to bring some four legged friends to the city centre in their touring Dog-mobile.

On Friday 21st April, Dogs Trust will be raising pounds for hounds at a doggie meet and greet in Swansea city centre.

The charity's Dogmobile will be putting its paws down outside the Marks and Spencer store on Oxford Street, from 10am-4pm to give supporters and doting dog lovers the chance to find out more about the work of Dogs Trust and to meet one of the charity's four legged friends.

Dog lovers will be able to find out more about the Rehoming Centre in Bridgend and read more about some of the dogs currently at the centre looking for homes.

Dogmobile Assistant Manager, Laura Nicholas, explains, "The Dogmobile is a fun, interactive way to help people find out more about rehoming a rescue dog and the brilliant work of Dogs Trust.

Whilst dogs are not directly rehomed from the Dogmobile, if you do find that it's puppy love after meeting our adorable dogs, we encourage you to visit our centres to find out more about making a new best friend.

"You'll also be able to find out about the charity's fantastic 'Sponsor a Dog' scheme, how you can get your dog microchipped for free at Dogs Trust centres and how you can make a difference by volunteering at the Dogs Trust Bridgend centre."
