Fans have been venting their disappointment on social media, with some expressing sympathy for the challenges Potter had faced over the past year.
Graham Potter knew he was going to lose Dan James, Mike van Der Hoorn and possibly other first team players. He's already experienced 2 dreadful transfer windows, where's the hope that those players will be replaced? It's disappointing but just feel some perspective needed.— Vital Swansea (@VitalSwansea) 18 May 2019
