One Swansea woman has designed stab proof sleeping bags, to keep people living on the streets safe.
Jo Ashburner Farr , CEO of Swansea based social enterprise ROOF was once homeless herself. She saw a need for specialist sleeping bags which are slash proof, fireproof, waterproof, and can withstand temperatures of -20 degrees.
Jo will even be hiring homeless people to make the sleeping bags, which feature a special layer to protect organs of the wearer. Working with Gower College, she's helping people living on the streets get on an apprenticeship - which is the first of its kind in Wales.
She tells The Wave and Swansea Sound about the set of circumstances which led to her becoming homeless herself.
