Wales Forwards Coach relishes Bronze Final against the All Blacks
Wales forwards coach Robin McBryde has said the side have to shake off their Semi-Finals disappointment and make the most of the Bronze Final between Wales and New Zealand this Friday.
The game in Tokyo will be Warren Gatland's last as National Coach:
“We’ve got to enter into the spirit of the occasion and go out there and make it a great game,” he said.
“When you’ve got the opportunity to go out there and play, I just think it’s a fantastic occasion you know. Just embrace it. Not everyone gets the chance to stand in front of the Haka for a start, or to test themselves against one of the best teams in the world.”
Wales’ World Cup bid just fell short as they were beaten 19-16 by South Africa in their semi-final clash at Yokohama Stadium in Japan.
But McBryde said Friday should be a great final game.
“We’ve been together for five months so its an opportunity to go out there and show what we’ve been working on.
“It’s the last game of the World Cup and its against the All Blacks. It’s a fantastic opportunity to go out there and just enjoy it.”
