Harry Baker murder investigation: Fifth man charged

Leon Clifford from Barry to appear in court in connection with the 17 year-old's murder

A fifth man has been charged in connection with the murder of Cardiff teenager Harry Baker, whose body was discovered at Barry Docks.

Leon Clifford, who is 22 and from Barry, has been charged with murder. He is due to appear at Cardiff Magistrates’ Court this morning.

A 16-year-old boy from Cardiff, a 21-year-old man from Cardiff and a 61-year-old man from Barry, who were all arrested on suspicion of murder remain in police custody.

Officers were called at around 5.50 am last Wednesday to Barry Intermodal Terminal on Wimborne Road, following the discovery of the body of Harry Baker.

His family continue to be supported and updated by family liaison officers.

A police statement read:

"South Wales Police thanks the community for the support and information that has already been given during the investigation."
