Historic day for Jones as Wales head to Twickenham

Record number of caps for Welsh Captain in world Cup warm up

Alun Wyn Jones makes Welsh rugby history at Twickenham this afternoon.

He'll win a national record 135th Test cap when he captains the side against England in their World Cup warm-up.

Head Coach Warren Gatland said:

"I think the bigger the occasion, the bigger the challenge is when he tends to thrive. He's comfortable in the position he is at the moment and he deserves the accolades that are thrown his way"

Gatland's named a strong line-up - while their opponents have picked an experimental 15.

It's the first match of a double-header, with Cardiff hosting the return game next weekend.

If Wales win today's game they will officially become the world's top-ranked team.
