We're being urged to recycle and take home our litter from parks and beaches across West Wales.

It's National Recycle Week ... and we've been looking at the efforts being made by Pennard to cut down on waste in the village.

We've spoken to Susan Rodway, a Pennard community councillor who is fighting to create a plastic-free Pennard .. starting first of all by trying to eliminate single-use plastics within the community.

Claire Pearson's been down to Pennard to check out the community's push towards a greener way of life.

Check out these two interviews. The first is with Susan Rodway talking about the Plastic Free Pennard campaign.

We then met up with Jamie Francis, owner of  Three Cliffs coffee Shop and Pennard Stores. He told us about his personal campaign to change people's attitude to recycling and cutting back on waste.
