It's being reported that work on Swansea's Kingsway has stopped after workers downed tools in a row over pay with Welsh construction firm Dawnus.
We've been told that work on the Swansea scheme stopped this morning as has work on the Regent Road project in Manchester.
It was hoped the Kingsway project would be completed by the end of the year.
Swansea Council say they're aware of the situation. Its issued a statement saying: "We are in discussions with Dawnus and monitoring the situation. In the meantime the city centre remains open for business. Traffic's running smoothly and we are ensuring the area is safe for pedestrians and road users. Our main priority is to ensure the Kingsway and Pupil Referral Unit projects go ahead as planned."
We've called Dawnus for a comment but they're not answering their phones.
