Suspect sought after Llanelli assault

Man's injuries thought to be serious after incident outside Met Bar

Dyfed-Powys Police are calling for information after an assault which happened outside The Met Bar in Llanelli just before one o'clock this morning. (Sunday 7th July)

A man was taken to hospital with what are believed to be serious injuries.

A force statement says they are searching for a suspect described as:

"a white male in his 20’s, stocky build, approximately 5ft 10”, blonde hair with a goatee beard.  He wore a white t-shirt with a dark coloured emblem on the left side of the chest area."

Detective Inspector Llyr Williams said

“There was a large group of people in the area at the time and we are keen to speak to anyone who was present during the incident.”

Anyone with information that can help officers with their investigation is asked to report it by phoning Llanelli CID on 101, quoting Ref:DP-20190707-033.
