Tribute Paid To Swansea Paramedic On What Would Have Been His Birthday

A special mural's been painted in memory of Gerallt Davies and honouring key workers across Wales.

The street art design was created by local electrician Steve Jenkins - who is making a name for himself locally with his graffiti-style pieces.

The South Star pub in Llanelli approached him to create a fitting tribute in the town just yards from the local ambulance station.

Gerallt who would have been 52   - died in April from Covid-19.

Steve told us: "While I was painting quite a few people were coming up to me -  saying stories about him. He sounded a real hero and a real character. I am so chuffed that I have done this piece for him  - because it means so much to so many people. He was a special man."
